Description

Writes compelling copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action across all marketing channels, including website copy, email campaigns, blog posts, video scripts, digital and print ads, and packaging
Collaborating with business development and marketing to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
Collaborate with designers and content team on marketing projects (e.g., email campaigns and landing pages)
Conduct high-quality research and interviews
Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience
Edit and proof work to ensure high US/English editorial standards are met across all content outputs
Revise copy based on internal/stakeholder feedback/direction
Update website content as needed
Repurpose existing content to appeal to a variety of target audiences and messaging
Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
Drive brand consistency across all company communications
Stay on current trends and competitors within the editorial sphere

Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
Excellent listening and communication (written and verbal) and fluent in English
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
Ability to foster collaborative relationships, work well under pressure, and filter and organize a large volume of important information
Creativity, adaptability, resourcefulness, and motivation
Ability to problem solve, prioritize effectively, and work independently and within the team
Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines
Receptive to feedback
Committed to the success of the team
Content marketing and social media marketing experience preferred
SEO experience preferred
Proficient with MS Office; preferably with Office 365
