Job Overview:
The P&C Training & Learning Delivery Specialist ensures employees and managers have the knowledge and skills to work effectively as P&C transformation initiatives roll out. This role owns end-to-end training design and delivery for Workday enhancements, process changes, and digital capability rollouts.
Working closely with the Change Management Specialist, Business Analysts, and P&C Partners, this role builds training on a real understanding of stakeholder needs and readiness — turning the Change Management Specialist's impact assessments into practical, audience-appropriate learning experiences, and applying the reusable frameworks, tools, and methodology to deliver consistently at scale.
Major Responsibilities:
Training Design & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of training programs for Workday enhancements, process changes, and digital capability rollouts — developing and executing training in line with the approach and standards set out in the Global Workday Learning Strategy and Rollout Training Methodology.
- Design and conduct training needs assessments ahead of every major rollout, building on the Change Management Specialist's stakeholder impact assessments, with a consistent methodology identifying what each user group needs, in what format, and by when
- Create a range of training assets appropriate to audience and context — job aids, quick reference guides, process guides, facilitator guides, and e-learning content — establishing reusable templates and standards
- Facilitate live and virtual training sessions for P&C and non-P&C users across the organization, adapting delivery style for different audiences and contexts
- Build an evaluation framework to measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessment, and post-training adoption data, iterating on content and delivery based on findings
- Establish and maintain a centralized training library, creating the structure and governance to keep materials current as systems and processes evolve
Partnership & Knowledge Management
- Partner closely with the Change Management Specialist to ensure training design is grounded in real stakeholder readiness and impact findings, and coordinate on rollout timing and sequencing
- Track training completion and content-effectiveness metrics, feeding into the team's broader adoption reporting
- Build the team's training capability through reusable templates, toolkits, and standards applied across all P&C transformation projects
- Conduct post-implementation reviews on training effectiveness, using findings to improve future delivery
- Stay current on Workday training approaches and adult learning principles
Job Requirements:
Work Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in training/learning & development, ideally including system rollouts or process change contexts
- Experience building training tools, templates, or frameworks
- Solid working knowledge of Workday from an end-user or training perspective is a strong advantage
- Instructional design background or certification is an advantage
- Experience in a complex, matrixed organization preferred
- Experience creating microlearning content for adult learners and/or working with tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, Moodle, or equivalent
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies
- Instructional design capability: able to assess needs, build practical learning materials, and adapt content for different roles, formats, and audiences
- Confident facilitator of live and virtual sessions for diverse groups
- Clear and adaptable communicator across audiences
- Data-aware: able to define training effectiveness metrics, interpret findings, and recommend action
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without losing detail
Working Environment:
Standard office working environment with the ability to work remote 2-3 days per week.
This role is open to candidates located and with the right to work in Kenya, Lebanon, and Colombia.
Professional Standards: All International Rescue Committee workers must adhere to the core values and principles outlined in IRC Way - Standards for Professional Conduct. Our Standards are Integrity, Service, Equality and Accountability. In accordance with these values, the IRC operates and enforces policies on Safeguarding, Conflicts of Interest, Fiscal Integrity, and Reporting Wrongdoing and Protection from Retaliation. IRC is committed to take all necessary preventive measures and create an environment where people feel safe, and to take all necessary actions and corrective measures when harm occurs. IRC builds teams of professionals who promote critical reflection, power sharing, debate, and objectivity to deliver the best possible services to our clients.
