About the Job
As a social media manager specializing in the restaurant industry, the main focus would be to showcase the restaurant’s offerings, create a strong online presence, and engage with customers to drive sales and increase brand loyalty.
The key responsibilities would include:
- Developing a comprehensive social media strategy to promote menu items, special events, and promotions.
- Creating visually appealing and tasty food photography and videos to showcase the restaurant’s menu and ambiance.
- Managing and updating the restaurant’s social media profiles, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to ensure they accurately reflect the brand image and provide valuable information to customers.
- Responding to customer inquiries, comments, and reviews on social media and working to resolve any negative experiences in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborating with the marketing and customer service teams to create and execute targeted social media campaigns and promotions.
- Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics to track the success of campaigns and make adjustments as needed.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in the restaurant sector to ensure that the social media strategy remains relevant and effective.
- The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in the restaurant industry, a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred, along with experience in food photography and video production.
